Our client, located in southeast Virginia, is seeking a Vascular Surgeon to join a talented team of fellowship-trained and board-certified surgeons for a growing program.
The facility has been a major health resource for Virginia and northeastern North Carolina, employing approximately 2.400 employees and over 600 physicians on staff. They are the first nationally accredited chest pain center with the best heart attack survival rate in the region according to recently published Center for Medicare & Medicaid Servies (CMS) reports. The Cardiac Catheterization Labs are equipped with Phillips’ digital flat plane cardiac and vascular X-ray system as well as the Corindus CorPath GRX System, the only robotic-assisted PCI Platform cleared by the FDA.
The cardiovascular program combines state-of-the-art technology to provide the highest level of cardiac and vascular care. The comprehensive approach means all services, from diagnosis to treatment, are performed under one roof by a highly skilled team of professionals. The incumbent will be proficient in performing a full range of open and endovascular surgical procedures (arterial and venous), dialysis access, and interpret non-invasive vascular labs (preferably RVPI).
