Accreditation Surveyor

Corazon is seeking an Accreditation Surveyor to add to our growing team! This individual will assist in facilitating onsite accreditation surveys, review and provide feedback for a programs clinical quality outcomes and ensure compliance to all Corazon accreditation standards, societal guidelines and any state specific regulatory language should it be required.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts onsite debrief sessions recognizing client need and the intended audience.
  • Observes, analyzes, and evaluates the provision of cardiovascular care services to ensure adherence and compliance to professional standards of practice, clinical societal guidelines, Corazon accreditation standards and state regulatory language, as required.
  • Conducts presentations displaying the Corazon expertise and industry relevant information.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, specific state licensure and formal credential as an RN, Radiologic Technologist, or RCIS
  • Have a minimum of 3 years clinical cardiovascular experience in the procedural areas such as the cardiac Cath lab, electrophysiology lab and/or pre-intra or post cardiovascular operating room.
  • Knowledge and understanding of data registries, and prepares and delivers presentations, written and standardized deliverables as part of the onsite evaluation.
  • Candidate must possess strong communication skills among peers, physicians, and hospital leaders.
  • Lives in the greater Pittsburgh area and enjoys travel and professional interactions with key clinical personnel, physician leaders and key stakeholders of cardiovascular programs that are community based and larger tertiary centers.
  • Able to organize workload and handle multiple priorities and requests

Healthcare Services Account Executive

Corazon, a national leader in strategic service line development for hospitals and health systems is seeking a dynamic and innovative individual to join our growing team as a Healthcare Services Account Executive (Consulting, Recruitment, and Accreditation & Peer Review).

Position scope:

Represents Corazon with an integrated ownership of sales contracts from lead generation of potential sales prospects through negotiation and close of agreement. Effectively uses a consultative sales approach to determine the prospect’s needs and leverage tactics that are common within the sales processes at a professional services firm. Works with the sales team to seek, evaluate, and produce sales leads and opportunities for the firm with accountability to the COO/EVP.

Responsibilities:

  • Responds in a timely manner to leads and prospects, compiles related analysis, and cultivates new business relationships;
  • Develops consulting proposals with further assistance from the sales team to ensure they are succinct, appropriate to need, priced appropriately, and are sent timely;
  • Recommends product(s) or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential;
  • Works collaboratively with the team to identify and cultivate cross-selling across business units;
  • Creates plans to identify new leads and works with the sales team to conduct calls, shuffles etc., to identify contacts and potential clients;

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Three to Five years of successful sales experience preferably in healthcare service sales with the ability to facilitate change, influence people, and effectively listen and communicate, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making.

  • Must live in the Pittsburgh area and have a regular presence at the Corazon office site.

Service Line Consultant

The successful candidate will work with and support a project team in the development of strategic plans, program development initiatives, and physician alignment projects. This candidate will manage a project to include: managing the executive relationships, organizing teams, structuring a work plan, and completing and introducing the work to clients. The role also includes managing company relationships by becoming the trusted advisor to each client, medical, and clinical staff leadership teams. The candidate will support or manage all aspects of engagement to include data analysis, recommendations development, summarization of findings, and plan execution of each project.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related field required, Master’s degree preferred
  • Work experience in a hospital setting within cardiovascular, neuroscience, and/or orthopedic specialties
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry, with a particular focus on clinical innovation, health policy, and new payment models
  • Consultative expertise, including strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong expertise in the Microsoft Office Suite, with a particular focus on PowerPoint and Excel
