Corazon’s involvement in our neuroscience service line expansion saved us months in terms of development time, as well as literally hundreds of thousands of dollars in real savings.
It was a delight working with the Corazon team on the implementation of our PCI and open heart surgery programs. Upon survey completion of the cardiovascular services area by the California Department of Public Health, they indicated that we were the most prepared facility and service they had ever surveyed. I give much of that credit to the knowledge and guidance the Corazon consultants provided. They filled an incredibly important role in helping us to achieve this milestone.
We appreciate Corazon’s help with the implementation of our PCI program. The leadership and professionalism of the Corazon team were key to this whole process, and we thank them for the time, efforts, and hard work dedicated to our program. Any hospital that works with Corazon is getting the best there is.
The Corazon team’s guidance and project management with our strategic planning and physician alignment initiatives helped move the concepts from the drawing board to reality. We would still be deciding internally what to do next without their facilitated leadership. They were key to gaining the momentum needed to make informed, strategic decisions to move our service line forward.
With Corazon’s expertise and specialized study of our medical center, we now have a great implementation road map for expanding neuroscience capabilities that are needed to better care for our community.
I want to extend my sincere thanks to the Corazon team for making the accreditation process at St. John Macomb-Oakland such a positive experience. Corazon was a pleasure to work with and I truly feel that we will become a better program as a result.
Thank You, Corazon! Here at WellStar Paulding, we are growing tremendously month after month…our staff continues to grow to better meet the demands of our OP volume. We’re already considering the addition of a second lab for our continued cath growth and newly-added simple EP procedures…At Douglas, we continue to lead the system overall in NCDR, PCI, and GWTG outcomes and it’s likely Paulding will follow suit. Our verification with Corazon has done so much to help us be successful in our quest to best treat heart disease in our local communities.
Our experience with Corazon Accreditation has exceeded our expectations here at Garden City Hospital…the overall process has helped us improve our program in the best of ways, with the consultants there every step of the way. From interacting with our team, to collaborating with our physicians, to providing feedback to our executive team, we feel Corazon’s feedback and accreditation will elevate care in many ways. We’re excited to have Corazon’s Seal of Accreditation on our cardiovascular program and think they represent how the accreditation process should be.
Corazon provides an extra layer of quality assurance that is essential in the success of any cardiac catheterization program. Through the support from Corazon and our medical director, [we have] not only achieved, but consistently maintained, positive outcomes…Corazon also provides identification of areas for improvement according to the top benchmarks across the nation. With early recognition and timely implementation of change, Evangelical has seen our outcomes steadily soar. With Corazon as our accrediting body, we have a “safety net” for our quality program.”
Working through the accreditation process has been a pivotal part of our continued development of best practices for our catheterization lab. With Corazon, we gain invaluable insight into cardiology as a whole, including the labs…[We have] worked with Corazon for more than 15 years, and through this partnership, our cardiology department has continued to grow and flourish into one of the most accredited and successful in the state. We are quite thankful for this continued relationship, and look forward to working with them for years to come.
