Formal Quality Oversight

Corazon’s unique value comes from a collaborative and educational approach for achieving excellence. This includes onsite surveyor participation at Cardiovascular Quality Meetings, ensuring ongoing quality dashboard review with a minimum of quarterly feedback. Our approach also involves best-practice evaluation through ad hoc tracer activities and providing best-practice industry recommendations to support your cardiovascular programs’ needs for quality assurance, state requirements, and performance improvement efforts.

Peer Review

If elected, Corazon’s formal peer review involves a practicing physician in the specialty being reviewed. Clients also have the option for an onsite meeting with a Corazon Physician Advisor and Corazon Surveyor. The peer review process can be selected ad hoc, and a Summary of Findings is included to support your cardiovascular programs’ needs for quality assurance, state requirements, and performance improvement efforts.

Corazon and SCAI

Corazon Accreditation standards and processes are reviewed and endorsed by SCAI’s renowned physician leaders, thus offering cardiovascular programs the most comprehensive and trusted third-party quality oversight in the U.S. market to date. Corazon and SCAI are ushering in a new era of quality oversight for interventional cardiology programs and there is discounting available for SCAI members!
