Dr. Buterbaugh is the President of the Hand & UpperEx Center and the Executive Director of the Western PA Surgery Center. A Pittsburgh native, he received his Medical Degree from the University of Pittsburgh, and proceeded on to Syracuse, New York where he completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery. He was then Fellowship-trained in Hand and Microvascular Surgery at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Buterbaugh has been in private practice since 1985 and also actively practices on the medical staffs of several local high-profile hospitals, including multiple sites of UPMC facilities. His current academic appointment is Clinical Associate Professor, Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.

Dr. Criado, a nationally-recognized vascular surgeon, is the Chief of Vascular Surgery at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He is a long-time leader at Union Memorial, part of the MedStar Health System, and has held this post for over a decade. For the last five years, he has served as Director of the Center for Vascular Intervention, and also leads the Non-Invasive Vascular Labs and oversees Vascular Research. He was elected to the Fellow American College of Surgeons and the Fellow Society of Vascular Medicine and Biology. He is an active member of the International Society of Endovascular Specialists in which he has served as the Secretary for the past 12 years. Dr. Criado also founded the Latin-American Endovascular Surgical Society and is a founding member of the International Society for Vascular Surgery. Throughout his career, he has been widely published in over 100 journals, abstracts, films, and book chapters, and has received numerous honors and achievements. His research and clinical interests include endovascular therapy, international angiology, endovascular and vascular surgery, and vascular disease management.

Dr. Ferdinand Hui is the Associate Professor at Johns Hopkins University and the Director of Interventional Stroke of the National Capital Region. Dr. Hui is a renowned neuro-interventional specialist surgeon with a radiology background and has experience working at the Cerebrovascular Institute at the Cleveland Clinic. He has vast knowledge of both hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke and a specialized focus on endovascular treatment of neurovascular disease, neuroradiology, and diagnostic radiology. Dr. Charles Kinder is the founder and Director of the Heart Rhythm Program for Heart Care Centers of Illinois. He has a very distinguished academic background including training at Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Loyola University Medical Center, and the University of Chicago where he also served as a faculty member. He remains very involved with teaching as he currently serves as a faculty member for the Heart Rhythm Society’s official and mandatory device implantation course. Dr. Kinder also has had an extensive career in private practice. He founded the Heart Rhythm Program for Heart Care Centers of Illinois, a 28-member single specialty cardiology group in the very competitive Chicago Metro market. Dr. Kinder has been directly involved in building successful EP programs at St. Francis Blue Island Hospital, Vanguard’s MacNeal Hospital, and has just recently partnered with Corazon to build a new EP program at Morris Community Hospital. Prior to his time with HCCI he helped to build successful EP programs at several hospitals in San Antonio.

As a skilled orthopedic surgeon and medical professor, Dr. Mears has been serving his clients for over 20 years. Receiving his medical degree from Oxford University in England, Dr. Mears was awarded the Brian Johnson Prize. He later returned to the United States where his career advanced substantially as he facilities the strategic growth of the orthopedic surgery program as the Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery at Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Heather J. Rohan has over 30 years of extensive healthcare leadership experience, serving in a variety of roles within HCA Healthcare, one of the nation’s leading healthcare systems with over 180 hospitals and 2000 sites of care in 21 states and the UK.

Ms. Rohan served as President of HCA’s TriStar Division, where she had responsibility for 19 hospitals and multiple access points including five free standing ERs, seven oncology centers, five behavioral health centers, fifty-five physician clinics, eighteen urgent care centers, several imaging centers and a robust network of telemedicine sites across Tennessee, Southern Kentucky, and Northwest Georgia. Ms. Rohan retired from HCA at the end of 2020.

Ms. Rohan currently serves as an Independent Director on the boards of AccuVein and Specialty Care. In addition, Ms. Rohan continues to be actively engaged in the community serving as Immediate Past Chair of the Board of United Way of Greater Nashville, Vice Chair Barry University Board of Trustees, and NAMI Tennessee.

Active in both the practice and educational realms of medicine, Dr. Tortolani has worked at nearly every major New York hospital throughout his career. He is currently a Professor of Clinical Cardiothoracic Surgery at Weill Medical College of Cornell University, a faculty post he’s had since 1973. He serves as Vice Chairman of the Cornell Cardiothoracic Surgery Network and is the Attending Cardiothoracic Surgeon at New York Presbyterian Hospital. He has participated in multiple research studies, most notably with methods for improving recovery of heart function from open heart surgery. He is the author of over 70 academic and scientific papers, and belongs to multiple professional societies, including the American College of Chest Physicians, the American College of Surgeons, the Association for Surgical Education, the Société Internationale de Chirurgie, the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.
