The Stroke Program Coordinator will take a leadership role in the development and implementation of outcomes evaluation for program accreditation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree preferred
  • 5 years of experience in neuroscience nursing; Stroke coordinator experience preferred
  • Valid Alabama Nursing License required or ability to obtain an Alabama License

Thoracic Surgeon

Our client, an academic center with nearly 600 beds, is seeking a qualified Thoracic Surgeon for a growing program.

The medical center has a rich history in the Eastern Tennessee community of providing patient-centered care and remaining at the forefront of research, technology and treatments. Attributing its well-respected standing within the community to the exceptional people who dedicate themselves to patient care and excellence, the medical center is the region’s only dedicated Heart Hospital, academic medical center, Magnet® recognized hospital and Level I Trauma Center. The medical center serves as a major referral center for East Tennessee, Southeast Kentucky and Western North Carolina.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in minimally invasive thoracic surgery with experience in malignant and benign thoracic processes, including the full spectrum of pulmonary, esophageal, mediastinal, and chest wall disease. Experience in tracheal surgery is preferred.

The chosen candidate will join a team of four experienced Cardiac and Thoracic Surgeons and eight Advanced Practitioners.
