Two-Midnight Rule: Calculating the Formula for Success 00064

Under the two-midnight rule, a patient qualifies as an inpatient admission only if the patient stays at the hospital for at least two midnights. As published in the FY15 final inpatient rule, Recovery Audit Contractor (RAC) enforcement of the two-midnight rule had been delayed until March 31, 2015 at the time of recording, and has since been further delayed to 2016. The impending enforcement of the rule could mean significant financial implications to the department or even a hospital's bottom line. Topics covered in this webinar include: the continued shift from inpatient to outpatient, medical and surgical patients who are most affected, what this means for your organization, and more!

After your purchase is reviewed, you will receive a CD with the recorded webinar in the mail.
