Regulatory Change in California: Shaking Up Cardiovascular Services
The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) has released the application to accompany Senate Bill 906, which amended the Health and Safety Code to allow an unlimited number of hospitals to provide percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) with open heart surgery (OHS) support offsite. Only 6 programs were previously permitted to provide this service under a “PCI Pilot Program.” The rigorous, 28-page application is a considerable undertaking, and Corazon is sharing some insight on how hospitals can be successful in seeking approval for service expansion. Topics covered in this webinar include: high level requirements included in the application, impact of these changes for programs only providing diagnostic or noninvasive services, initial strategies to prepare for submitting an application, and more!
After your purchase is reviewed, you will receive a CD with the recorded webinar in the mail.
